Natural Locs Hairstyle Acure Organics Review

Natural Locs Hairstyle Acure Organics Review
Natural Locs Hairstyle Acure Organics Review

This is a thank you gift from Ramblen for my participation in their online magazine as a contributor.

This is my first experience with ACURE ORGANICS and I must say that I am very impressed with the products. I have so much hair on my head probably enough for three or four people so it is difficult to find products that cover my hair in one application. The ACURE ORGANICS TROPICAL CITRUS ARGAN OIL CASTILE SOAP did a great job sudsing and lathering to clean my locs. I thought that I might need three shampoos but two lathers with the yummy fruity essential oils was sufficient. After shampooing and rinsing my locs, I applied the ACURE ARGAN OIL 100% CERTIFIED ORGANIC MOROCCAN for deep conditioning. It is very thick and I probably used too much of it. As I stated before  I did not think that it would cover all of my hair. I probably used about 1/4 of the bottle of serum which too much. It is a very heavy oil that penetrates deeply into the hair follicles. The final product I used on my locs was the ACURE LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER  ARGRAN OIL + ARGRAN STEM CELL.  I did not need to use as much of this product as I anticipated, it covered my thick hair very well. I was very pleased with the results of these ACURE ORGANICS on my long thick locs and look forward to the next beauty treatment. Thank you Ramblen for the gift box of ACURE ORGANICS.

How To Travel The Skychi Travel Guide Live Flying With Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving Dinner Mac 'n Cheese
Thanksgiving Dinner Mac 'n Cheese

Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend Vacation and Travel can be very stressful with crowds and long lines at the  Airport TSA Security Line. Once I was working a flight as a flight attendant. I was dressed in my blue uniform pants and blazer with blue and white striped blouse passing through the meal detector at the Memphis airport security checkpoint when I heard the TSA Agent stop an elderly woman behind me. She was attempting to bring through security frozen mac 'n cheese casserole dish.  The TSA Agent confiscated the elderly woman's Thanksgiving Dinner Mac 'N Cheese.

Unfortunately frozen foods are not allowed to fly through airport security and onto planes.

You can however fly with fresh baked pies and cakes. So you may bring dessert for Thanksgiving Dinner with your family as TSA does allow these sweet goodies for flying through airport security.

Here is a list of food  and gift items that must be shipped if they are 3.4 oz or more:

Cranberry sauce
Cologne
Creamy dips and spreads (cheeses, peanut butter, etc.)
Gift baskets with food items (salsa, jams and salad dressings)
Gravy
Jams
Jellies
Lotions
Maple syrup
Oils and vinegars
Perfume
Salad dressing
Salsa
Sauces
Snow Globes
Soups
Wine, liquor and beer

I have seen many moms with large containers of peanut butter which are not allowed through security as it is considered a gel substance by TSA. You may bring small 3.4 oz containers of peanut butter through security.

Chicago State University and Global Institute of Sustainable Development Ribbon Cutting

Dr. Margaret King CSU Faculty & Coordinator of International Studies Global Institute of Sustainable Development
Dr. Margaret King  CSU Faculty & Coordinator of International Studies Global Institute of Sustainable Development
"This past summer President Barack Obama invested in the future of African leadership through the Mandela Fellows and hosted the first ever US-Africa Leaders summit in Washington, D.C. Although the summit was open, many people were excluded by virtue of socio-economic factors that hindered their participation. In view of the fact that China is dominating investment in Africa with limited American, especially African-American involvement, there is a need for the wider community as well as predominantly Black institutions, PBI, like Chicago State, to get in on these discussions. Additionally, the tremendous response from Africa and the Diaspora community working together at the summit stirred up hunger for more mutually beneficial global connections. This momentum must be cultivated and maintained as a catalyst for improved dialogue between the US and Africa, in order to stimulate trade and exchange of ideas which will lead us to more sustainable development for all parties.

Building Global Partnership For African Leadership and Development
Building Global Partnership For African Leadership and Development

Thus, the 'Global Africa Partnership Forum,'  with the theme, 'Building Global Partnership for African Leadership and Sustainable Development' is a continuation of these discussions to enhance capacity-building for US-Africa partnership. It seeks to connect the dots, to address pertinent issues of how to leverage international resources for leadership and development in Africa. The Forum will engage university's internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to faculty, students, entrepreneurs, corporations, faith-based and community organizations, policymakers, researchers, public intellectuals and the general citizenry in a dynamic discussion and debate about the broad issues surrounding the role university-community partnerships and the wider African Diaspora can play in building strong leadership and sustainable development for Africa.

The forum will go beyond talk to actually match resources to identified needs, as well as expose African resources to potential foreign investors. There is the opportunity for potential investors to meet on a one-on-one with country representatives. Additionally, a ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Global Institute, including the Africa Center and the new Microfinance Center was held. For more information about the institute, please visit: www.csu.edu/internationalstudiesglobalinstitute."
