2015 is the 6th Annual Jazz Music Season at Jazz In The Grazz at Chicago State University. There have been some changes this year due to budget cuts by Gov. Bruce Rauner.
Chicago State University now charges a nominal $5 entry fee plus $5 parking fee for participant goers. The past five years the event was free to the public and held in the outdoor amphitheater of the Douglas Hall near the library.
This year the opening event was held Wednesday, June 17th inside the Patricia and Emil Jones Convocation Center where the jazz concert attendees were sent to the ticket booth to purchase tickets for $5.
This Wednesday, June 24th the Jazz In The Grazz event was held in between the Patricia and Emil Jones Convocation Center and the Jacoby Dickens Athletic and Physical Education Center.
