Social Media Week Chicago Truly Engaging Open Conversations & Connecting People
Social Media Week Chicago September 23- 26, 2013 |
The most important reminder that I learned during Social Media Week Chicago was to play like a child.
Yes, play like the Millennials. During the course of the week I visited several public relations and social media companies. I was amazed at the office setup or lack thereof. There were games and toys everywhere, missing were the cubicles and desks. Google had a basketball game. The creative geniuses at Meltwater sported comfy sofas and games tables. RamonWow with his infectious energy and spirit pointed out the importance of playing like a baby. So the secret to successful social media is P-L-A-Y! Playing allows you to be open in conversation and connected to people. I can't wait to play at the next Social Media Week in February 17-21, 2014.
